I am currently starting out as a tenure-track Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University in the Department of Marine, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. As I start out at NC State, I am looking for students to start in Fall 2017. Department of Marine, Earth, and Atmospheric Science. I am an atmospheric scientist. I research Tropical convection and dynamics. I am mostly interested in the interaction between convection and the cloud-free atmosphere and how this is treated in weather and climate models, but I am also involved in other areas of climate science. My general research interests include. The diurnal cycle of convection.
